My academic work has been published in The Journal of the American Medical Association, Preventive Medicine, and others.

Dr. Kevin O. Hwang, MD, MPH

Dr. Hwang is a board-certified internal medicine physician, primary care provider, and faculty member at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston. He teaches medical residents and students, conducts research and quality improvement projects, and serves as Medical Director of the UT Physicians General Internal Medicine Center where he sees patients.

Dr. Hwang earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch where he graduated with honors. He completed his internal medicine residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Subsequently, Dr. Hwang earned his Master of Public Health degree from The University of Texas School of Public Health. He graduated from Rice University with degrees in Biochemistry and English.

I am passionate about improving quality standards at hospitals
and improving patient satisfaction.

Dr. Alvin Krishna, MD

Dr. Alvin Krishna, MD earned a bachelor’s degree in life sciences from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and graduated cum laude with his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in the West Indies, Grenada.

He then completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Dr. Krishna joins our team of board-certified physicians for medical content review and is currently practicing at Lexington Hospitalists in West Columbia, SC as a full time hospitalist physician on staff.

I have published several peer-reviewed medical articles, written book chapters, and presented at many national surgical conferences.

Aaron L Wiegmann, MD, MS

Aaron, a surgeon and a scientist, is trained in medicine and specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology & Immunology from University of Miami as well as a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Research from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is currently also practicing medicine at the Rush University Medical Center.

He loves to share and translate medical knowledge regarding important topics with the general population. He prides himself in his ability to describe complex medical diagnoses or scenarios in ways that everyone can understand. He is a proponent for overall patient wellness and his core philosophy is to treat the whole patient: body, mind, and soul.
