Sachse, TX, a suburb of Dallas, that's located in Collin and Dallas counties, is experiencing an STD outbreak that's not showing signs of slowing down.

In 2017, about 18,000 people were living with HIV in Dallas County, and more than 60% of all new diagnoses were in patients under 35 years of age. Infections among this age group have been increasing steadily over the past nine years.
State and county public health officials are urging all people that are sexually active to help prevent the spread of STDs and with regular screenings.
