Bienestar is a social services organization that focuses on the needs of surrounding communities in the Los Angeles area. They focus on helping individuals that are Latino and are also in the LGBTQ community with care and support with any health issues they may be facing. The Pomona Center offers HIV/AIDS treatment, HIV/AIDS prevention sessions, STI treatment, mental health services, and classes to help those with substance abuse problems. Despite considerable funding for sexual health programs in California, there are considerable gaps in sexual education curriculum.
